The story behind the Fera Collection

With our Fera Collection, our focus shifts from fiery lava-inspired designs to designs that flow like water; embodying the energy of the sea, of the divine feminine, of the creation of life itself. This high-end collection was born from a desire to broaden our horizon of techniques using elements of nature. On the black beach of Eyrarbakki, Iceland, Anna wandered for hours, searching for new fascinating shapes and textures to work with. There. she came across a piece of giant kelp root; the largest marine plant in the world. She sawed off a piece of the root and brought it home, where she made a mold of its flowing, organic shape in which she casted the designs for the Fera Collection. The giant kelp’s Latin name, Macrocystis pyrifera, inspired the collection’s title. Like the deep, vast sea, our Fera jewellery pieces reflect the mystery and beauty of our inner world and are crafted to help you let go of what doesn’t serve you and find your own sacred flow.
Materials used for the Fera Collection
Encompassing various variants of rings, a pendant necklace, a pin and a pair of stud earrings, the Fera Collection is crafted with an array of different materials, many of which are inspired by the sea and its colours; materials used include recycled gold or fairmined gold, naturally coloured blue, green and yellow diamonds, aquamarine and high-quality (fairmined) sterling silver. One of the Fera rings is made with black, oxidized silver, reminiscent of Iceland’s black beaches. Each of the pieces in our Fera Collection is ethically and sustainably made to order with care in The Netherlands, shipping worldwide. Made to love a lifetime.
